Influences for the image include ancient Middle Eastern goddesses Ishtar and Astarte, and prehistoric bird-headed goddess figurines. Based on a dark surreal poem I wrote in the delirium of insomnia, this painting is also work of dark surrealism with no set meaning, though many thoughts and ideas played through my mind as I created it.
